Vald Birn Iron Foundry, Blyth, Northumberland
The project consisted of the asbestos removal, complete demolition and filling of basements at the former Vald Birn iron foundry site. The heavy steelwork structure was demolished using a combination of crane lifts, controlled pulling techniques and remote demolition.
