Trafalgar Gardens, Burnley
Project involved:
- Visual assessment of 10No buildings to be demolished and immediate surroundings to determine method of demolition most appropriate and that will cause least inconvenience to residents and members of the public.
- Q&A sessions with near by residents along with pre start meeting with local authority to discuss method of demolition/health and safety issues.
- Site set up and traffic management controls including restricted routes for vehicles due to small congested streets.
- Soft strip and demolition of single storey semi detached bungalows including removal of slabs & foundations to a depth of 1000mm.
- Processing of materials on site for recycling at out own local centres.
- Landscaping of site upon completion including area clean-up to remove any mud debris on roads or footpaths.
