The works consisted of the complete demolition of the following:
- Made site safe and secure as it had been subject to heavy vandalism
- Diversion and protection of live services
- Removal of tress & vegetation & Protection of trees using scaffolding system
- Removal of asbestos and contaminated concrete.
- Complete demolition of all buildings including steel, brick and reinforced concrete constructions
- Removal of internal plant & equipment
- Removal of tanks
- Ground investigations with client.
- Removal of slabs & foundation for onsite crushing to type 1 - 19,500m3
- All scrap was sorted and processed on site with nearly 97% of building materials recycled.
