Cargenbridge Primary School, Dumfries
- Demolition of concrete and timber clad structure 2/3 storey structure inc removal of slabs & foundations.
- Demolition completed adjacent live school with careful planning for control of pedestrians, delivery times and removal of materials to coincide with school starting & finishing times. .
- Soft strip of buildings
- Removal of asbestos including 550 tonne of contaminated concrete which was bonded with asbestos cement . Regular consultation with SEPA over removal process.
- The site was continuously dampened down using our own 30,000 litre mobile bowser.
- Machine demolition using two 20 tonne excavators
- All materials removed from site by our own transport division.
- Regular safety and environmental inspection/ meetings were held on site with the client team.
- All works were completed to deadline to the complete satisfaction of the client.
